Regarding community, Two Roads Cafe put their money where their mouth is. Before opening, they joined the local Chamber of Commerce to become better acquainted with the community, and its events. They also established "Support Central", whereas they, as a business, could offer our space FREE of charge to any non-profits or charities needing a meeting space. during closed hours.
They also give any food close to "best by" date to the homeless or needy. They switched all of our vendors to local companies so that they don't have to "ship product in", thereby supporting our community, as well. TRC currently has local desserts, soups, and meats, and in january, dairy products. In the month of December, they offered over 20 different events. In the month of January and February, they are offered over 40. In March, they crossed the 50 line.
To date, they continue to network with other businesses, green and otherwise, to help not only our business thrive, but to help our communities' businesses thrive.
